Some Anxiety Depression Types

Anxiety depression is characterized by its irregular and erratic behavior of the person who is experiencing it. Such erratic behavior seen in the victim is mainly due to stress triggers from within resulting in unexpected jitters and strain. It’s also a fact that those who seem to be getting very nervous over certain stressful activities are more vulnerable to anxiety depression and attacks. It does not make any difference to your problems if you only get nervous and depressed about it but you need to have more will power and self confidence and overcome the situation successfully

Some of the main types of depression;

1. Manic or Bipolar depression

It’s a kind of abrupt and extreme changes in a person’s mood or attitude towards something or someone. You feel so excited and elevated or say on top of the world in a minute or day or week perhaps but the next minute or day or week you feel like reeling in a hell or say, just so depressed and out of mind.

2. Postpartum depression

It can be better explained with an extended sadness or a feeling of emptiness especially by a new mother after having given birth to a new baby. She might be feeling sense of responsibility than never before or so could be the trigger to such depression. New mother undergo Postpartum depression mainly.

3. Dysthimia

Dysthimia is regarded as one of the mildest kind of depression, slightly similar to anxiety depression but nothing to be scared of. However, it’s always better you consult your doctor and treat timely to avoid any future relapse.

4. Cyclothemia

This kind of mental depression is almost similar to Biopolar depression but the victim might feel acute changes in his moods.

5. Seasonal Affective Disorder

It’s would sound strange but this happens only during specific weather conditions, either in winter or summer or fall. However the studies point to fact that more people fall a rut in winter and fall seasons. Another characteristic is mood swings that the person changes from happy to sad to angry in a very short time.

Nonetheless, the commonest kind of depression among large proportion of people is anxiety depression which is just excessively getting anxious over things in day to day life. Anxiety is quite normal and it’s just the reaction to adjust to certain situations in life, perhaps first date jitters or exam fear etc. Anxiety makes you psyched up to face a difficult situation in life and therefore anxiety, to an extent is a good thing.

On the contrast, anxiety depression is not something that we can write off for a normal thing as in the case of anxiety in a person’s life. It’s an illness that’s caused from the biological makeup of an individual, more like hereditary.
